In his Budget 2026 speech, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong assured Singaporeans of the Government’s support to helping Singaporeans manage cost pressures “as long as it is needed”. He outlined three main forms of additional support that many Singaporeans will receive in the year ahead, namely a Cost-Of-Living Special Payment, additional U-Save rebates, and CDC Vouchers for all Singaporean households.
These measures, targeted at most Singaporeans, complemented other forms of support announced in Budget 2025, including a new tranche of Child LifeSG Credits.

April 2026
U-Save
What is this for? To help defray the cost of household utilities.
Who is this for? Singaporean households living in HDB flats, and who do not own more than 1 property.
How much will you receive? Between $110 to $190 depending on your HDB flat type. Budget 2026 effectively doubled the amount of U-Save rebates disbursed in April and July 2026.
What do you need to do? Nothing. U-Save will be credited directly into the SP Services utilities accounts of eligible households.
Service and Conservancy Charges (S&CC) Rebates
What is this for? To help offset the S&CC fees for HDB households.
Who is this for? Singaporean households living in HDB flats, who do not own any private property and have not rented out their whole flat,
How much will you receive? Either 0.5 months or 1 month’s fee waiver, depending on your HDB flat type. 4-room HDB flats and smaller will receive 1 month’s S&CC fee waiver, while 5-room HDB flats and above will receive 0.5 months’ fee waiver.
What do you need to do? Nothing. S&CC rebates will be credited directly into your household’s S&CC accounts with the Town Council.
June 2026
CDC Vouchers
Originally planned for January 2027, the CDC vouchers will be brought forward to June 2026 in light of the Middle East Situation.
What is this for? To provide additional support for Singaporean households to tackle cost pressures.
Who is this for? All households with at least one Singapore Citizen.
How much will you receive? $500, equally divided according to their purpose. $250 to be spent at participating heartland merchants and hawkers, and $250 at participating supermarkets.
What do you need to do? Only one member representing the household needs to make the claim digitally via Singpass at go.gov.sg/cdcv.

July 2026
U-Save

Child LifeSG Credits
What is this for? To provide support for Singaporean families with children.
Who is this for? Every Singapore Citizen aged 12 years or younger in 2026 qualifies.
How much will you receive? $500 per child, disbursed to the Child Development Account (CDA) trustee of the child. Those born in 2025 and earlier will receive the Child LifeSG Credits via the LifeSG mobile app in July 2026. Those born in 2026 will receive their Child LifeSG Credits via the LifeSG mobile app in April 2027.
What do you need to do? Nothing. The Child LifeSG Credits can be used to make payment at any online or physical merchants that offer PayNow UEN QR or NETS QR.

August 2026
GST Voucher – Cash
What is this for? To help lower-income Singaporeans with their daily living expenses.
Who is this for? Every Singapore Citizen aged 21 years and above, within the following criteria: Assessable Income for Year of Assessment 2025 is $39,000 or less, Annual Value (AV) of home (as indicated on NRIC) does not exceed $31,000 as at 31 December 2025; and does not own more than 1 property.
How much will you receive? $450 or $850, depending the AV of your place of residence. Most eligible Singaporeans who live in HDB flats will get $850, as the AV of an HDB is usually below $21,000.
What do you need to do? If you have never signed-up for past GST Voucher payouts, you can apply by logging in to the e-services on the govbenefits portal.

GST Voucher – MediSave
What is this for? To help Singaporeans aged 65 and above with their medical expenses.
Who is this for? Every Singapore Citizen aged 65 years and above, within the following criteria: Annual Value (AV) of home (as indicated on NRIC) does not exceed $31,000 as at 31 December 2025; and does not own more than 1 property.
How much will you receive? $150 to $450, depending on your age and the AV of your place of residence. The older you are, the more you will receive.
What do you need to do? If you have never signed-up for past GST Voucher payouts, you can apply by logging in to the e-services on the govbenefits portal.
September 2026
Cost-Of-Living Special Payment 2026
Originally announced at Budget 2026 to comprise $200 to $400 in cash, the amount was enhanced by an additional $200 in light of the situation in the Middle East.
What is this for? To provide support for Singaporeans.
Who is this for? Every Singapore Citizen aged 21 years and above, within the following criteria: Assessable Income for Year of Assessment 2025 is $100,000 or less, and does not own more than 1 property.
How much will you receive? Between $400 to $600 in cash.
What do you need to do? Nothing.
October 2026
U-Save

Who is this for? Singaporean households living in HDB flats, and who do not own more than 1 property.
How much will you receive? Between $55 to $95, depending on your HDB flat type.

What is this for? To provide additional support to boost the retirement savings of eligible Singaporeans.
Who is this for? Singaporeans aged 50 and above in 2026 with CPF LIFE/Retirement Account or Ordinary/Special Account balances below $110,200 as at 31 December 2025.
How much will you receive? $500 to $1,500 in CPF top-up, depending on your current amount of CPF retirement savings and the AV of your residence.
What do you need to do? Nothing. Eligibility will be automatically assessed.
Assurance Package
What is this for? To defray living expenses for Singaporean households.
Who is this for? Singaporeans aged 21 and above in 2027.
How much will you receive? $100 to $250 in cash, depending on your Assessable Income.
What do you need to do? Nothing. Eligibility will be automatically assessed.
January 2027
