#6 Free Library Starter Pack For Your Child

The National Library Board (NLB) has a programme called Babies Can Be Members Too! Programme where parents can register their babies as library members. This programme is for those who are born from Jan 2016 onwards. By applying an NLB membership for your baby, you can get a gift pack for your baby that includes a tote bag, height chart, rhymes and fingerplays calendar for the little ones.

How to get: Parents can use the Moments of Life (MOL) app to register the birth of your child and apply for NLB membership card. Alternatively, parents can also activate your baby’s library card at any public library by bringing your child’s birth certificate and a parent’s NRIC.

#7 Free Cash

Giving red packets is not only reserved for occasions such as Chinese New Year and birthdays. What’s stopping you from giving your loved ones cash in a red packet (or even an eAngbao) for Christmas?

Standard Chartered and SingSaver have partnered up to give new-to-bank customers $200 in cash when they sign up for a Standard Chartered credit card. SingSaver will give you $120 cash via PayNow the next day after your application, while Standard Chartered Bank will offer $80 in cashback.
