To show how easily scams can masquerade as legitimate investment opportunities by preying on human psychology, DollarsAndSense decided to create our own “investment” product based on characteristics adopted from popular real-life scams that have occurred in Singapore.
We invited some of our friends to join us in this one-on-one discussion and recorded down some of the questions they asked us, our responses to these questions, as well as their reactions when we finally reveal to them that we were presenting to them a scam investment, rather than an actual investment opportunity.
