1. Cosmetics

Yes, we admit that we only have one face, one lip and ten fingers, but cosmetics are never enough for women. We are constantly searching for our holy grail (there is always a better one waiting to be discovered). It doesn’t help when Sephora and other Korean beauty stores are sprouting out everywhere offering great deals all the time.
Explanation: Well, we are taught to keep ourselves presentable.
2. Clothes
So many colours and they all look good on me…let’s get them all!
Given that female clothing comes in more styles and types, it is only natural that we have more dressing options. If you look at Platinum Mall in Bangkok, only 1 floor (out of 6 floors) are catered towards male clothing. The rest are for female.
Explanation: We buy more clothes because women clothing are way more interesting than male clothing (sorry guys).
3. Excessive Stationery
Welcome to my world of colours
Pink, Purple, Blue, Yellow and Orange pens. Some of us love writing notes with different colour pens and in fanciful looking notebooks. Notice how most guys would usually have only two colour pens (blue and black) while some girls will have pens of all sort of colours.
And yes, we still need the 2-3 black and blue pens as well.
Explanation: Since these will make us more motivated in revising, we wouldn’t mind spending a bit more on educational items right?
4. Beauty Regimen
This is an expensive 4-step process
Scrub. Wash. Tone. Moisturize. These are words that some guys will never be able to relate to.
For the rest of us ladies, we will need to spend money on beauty products, facials and body treatments. It seems like we are slapping layers and layers of stuff on our face and body. However toners, pre-essences, serums and moisturizers serve different purposes, so there is a need for layering.
Explanation: #iwokeuplikethat is a bag of lies. Guys, sorry to burst your bubble, we don’t wake up with acne-free, dewy face and hairless armpits.
