A total of 3,020 units are available for the upcoming February Build-To-Order (BTO) sales launch this year, the first launch of 2020. Locations on offer include Sembawang, a non-mature estate, and Toa Payoh, a mature estate.
BTO sales this time span across the following types of units: 2-room Flexi, 3-room, 4-room, 5-room and 3Gen.
#1 Sembawang – 1,400 units (2-room Flexi, 3-room, 4-room, 5-room, 3Gen)
The Sembawang BTO units are very strategically-located, being a stone’s throw away from Canberra MRT station and about 1.5km to Sembawang MRT station. The nearest bus interchange would be Sembawang interchange. Nearby amenities include Sembawang Shopping Centre, Sembawang Community Club, Sun Plaza and Canberra Plaza, a neighbourhood centre.
The BTO location is also next to the Yishun Park Connector which links the Khatib Bongsu Park Connector to the Canberra Park Connector, passing through the Simpang Kiri Park Connector and Canberra-Sembawang Park Connector, and running by Yishun Swimming Complex. The location is also within 1km from 2 neighbourhood parks, and a Sheng Shiong supermarket and a minimart.
If you’re thinking of adding to the brood, potential school options would be Sembawang Primary School, Sembawang Secondary School, Wellington Primary School and Canberra Primary School.
#2 Toa Payoh – 1,620 units (2-Room Flexi, 3-Room, 4-Room)
Toa Payoh BTO units are split into 2 sites–– site 1 has 920 units of 2-Room Flexi, 3-Room and 4-Room. Site 1 is at Toa Payoh Rise along Toa Payoh Lorong 1, and is about 500m away from Caldecott and Braddell MRT Station.
This BTO site is 1km away from several amenities such as Toa Payoh West Community Club, Mount Alvernia Hospital, Toa Payoh Public Library and HDB Hub.
Neighbouring schools include Raffles Girls’ Secondary School, Marymount Convent School, CHIJ Primary School (Toa Payoh), CHIJ Secondary School (Toa Payoh) and Kheng Cheng Primary School.
The second BTO site is at Kim Keat Avenue and is within 1.3km distance to Toa Payoh MRT station and Toa Payoh bus interchange, and 2.4km to Potong Pasir MRT station. Nearby amenities include Toa Payoh South Community Club, Toa Payoh East Community Club, Toa Payoh Stadium, SAFRA (Toa Payoh), Toa Payoh Public Library and HDB Hub.
Neighbouring schools include St. Andrew’s Junior School, St. Andrew’s Secondary School, St. Andrew’s Junior College, Pei Chun Public School, First Toa Payoh Primary School, Beatty Secondary School and Kheng Cheng Primary School.
