COVID-19 has badly affected both the travel industry and the food & beverage industry. With the demand for travelling low, it’s no surprise that Changi Airport and its tenants have been affected severely in terms of passenger traffic.

A New Option For Food Deliveries

With Changi Airport entering the food delivery business to help support its tenants, many of them local SMEs, it remains to be seen if it can compete with services such as Grab, Deliveroo and Foodpanda.

However, with its unique offerings from its terminals as well as Jewel, and the option to order from multiple merchants simultaneously in one order, Changi Eats is differentiating itself from its competitors. With Changi Eats, Changi Airport Group is positioning itself strongly to help offset the losses that come with the effects COVID-19 has on its tenants and business.
