Over the past several years, the Singapore government has been generously giving us several types of vouchers to defray the rising cost of living. The latest of these are the SG60 Vouchers, which were distributed to adults aged 21 to 59 on Tuesday this week. Seniors aged 60 and above received their SG60 Vouchers at the start of the month.
With so many types of vouchers being distributed, it’s easy to lose track of how to use them and when they expire, so here’s a handy table of vouchers and LifeSG credits in order of their expiry date.
| Voucher Type | Voucher Amount | Where To Use | Expiry |
| NS LifeSG Credits | At least $200 | Merchants that accept PayNow QR or NETS QR Payments | 1 year from the date of disbursement ($200 will expire around November 2025) |
| CDC Vouchers | $100 (January 2025) $250 (May 2025) | Hawkers And Heartland Merchants | 31 December 2025 |
| CDC Vouchers (Supermarket) | $100 (January 2025) $250 (May 2025) | Supermarkets | 31 December 2025 |

#1 NS LifeSG Credits
Expiry Date: 1 year after disbursement ($200 will expire in November 2025)
Past and present NSMen would have received $200 in NS LifeSG Credits in November 2024. You can find and use them using the LifeSG mobile app.
On the LifeSG mobile app, go to the Home page under Your credit wallet. You simply have to select the LifeSG credit that you want to use and select “Scan QR code to pay”.

The $200 NS LifeSG Credits distributed in November last year expire in November this year, so don’t forget to use them soon at any online or physical merchants that offer PayNow UEN QR or NETS QR. However, you will not be able to use the LifeSG credits when paying at merchants that use a PayNow QR code that is linked to their personal phone number (instead of their company UEN number).
You will also receive NS LifeSG credits at specific milestones, including $1,000 upon completion of your Full-Time National Service (FTNS), and $500 each at the mid-point and completion of Operationally Ready National Service (ORNS). These all expire 1 year after you received them.

#2 CDC Vouchers
Expiry Date: 31 December 2025
The latest tranche of $500 CDC Vouchers were distributed to households in May this year. In addition to the $300 CDC Vouchers each household received in January this year, that’s a total of $800 CDC Vouchers that expire by the end of the year.

Unlike LifeSG credits, CDC Vouchers can only be used at specific places. Half the CDC Vouchers can be used at specific hawkers and heartland merchants, while the other half can only be used at most supermarkets.
Remember that CDC Vouchers are distributed per household, and anyone living in the household with a SingPass can access them. Therefore, make sure to arrange with your family members how you want to use them.

#3 Child LifeSG Credits
Expiry Date: 1 year after disbursement (most will expire in July 2026)
A one-off disbursement of Child LifeSG Credits worth $500 was given to each Singaporean child aged 12 years and below this year. Families with children born between 2013 to 2024 will get their Child LifeSG Credits in July 2025, while those with children born in 2025 will receive the Child LifeSG Credits in April 2026.
Larger families will also enjoy an annual Large Family LifeSG Credit (LFLC) worth $1,000 during the years that their third and subsequent child turns one to six. For example, families with four children under six will get $2,000 in Large Family LifeSG Credits for their third and fourth child. This will be disbursed in September 2025 for eligible children turning one to six in 2025, and it will be disbursed in April in subsequent years.
#4 SG60 Vouchers
Expiry Date: 31 December 2026
The latest type of vouchers is the SG60 Vouchers, meant to add to the celebrations of Singapore’s 60th year of independence. These are given to each individual Singaporean aged 21 and above. Most would have received $600 worth of vouchers this week, while seniors aged 60 and above should receive $800 worth of vouchers.

SG60 Vouchers work just like CDC Vouchers – half can only be used at hawkers and heartland merchants, while the other half can only be used at supermarkets.
You have up to the end of next year to use them, so make sure you use the other types of vouchers first if you still have them.
