Parents with young children will know that there’s been a lot of buzz about the Disney Adventure Cruise making its maiden voyage in March 2026. Typically, cruises are built for middle-aged and older/retired adults, but the Disney cruise is obviously entirely catered to children.
When Disney announced that its new ship, the Disney Adventure, would be home-ported in Singapore from late 2025, there was a mad rush to book. That’s because the only way to enjoy a Disney cruise previously was to hop on a long-haul flight to the US or Europe.
But, one big question remains: how much will it actually cost, especially when you factor in Singapore’s peak period sailing dates during school holidays (i.e. when most people will want to go)?
Here’s a detailed look at what families can expect to pay, based on both peak and off-peak pricing given the school holiday dates in 2026.

The Calendar Dictates Prices
For parents, it’s not just about when Disney’s ship is sailing. We all know pricing is determined by school holidays – when your kids will actually be free to sail. In 2026, the Ministry of Education’s (MOE) holiday weeks for kindergarten, primary schools, and secondary schools are as follows:
- 14–22 March (Term 1 break)
- 30 May–28 June (Mid-year holidays)
- 5–13 September (Term 3 break)
- 21 November–31 December (Year-end holidays)
Sailing on Public Holidays that create long weekends may be in even higher demand as both children and parents have time off their schedules. You can also look at long weekends that just school-going children will get. In 2026, there are potentially 9 long weekends to consider:
- Hari Raya Puasa: 21 March 2026 (Saturday) – schools will get Monday 23 March as designated off-in-lieu
- Good Friday: 3 April 2026 (Friday)
- Labour Day: 1 May 2026 (Friday)
- Vesak Day: 31 May 2026 (Sunday) – Monday is a Public Holiday
- Youth Day: 5 July 2026 (Sunday) – Monday is a School Holiday
- National Day: 9 August 2026 (Sunday) – Monday is a Public Holiday
- Teachers’ Day: 4 September 2026 (Friday)
- Children’s Day: 2 October 2026 (Friday)
- Deepavali: 8 November 2026 (Sunday) – Monday is a Public Holiday
- Christmas Day: 25 December 2026 (Friday)
For those booking, you can expect these dates to be your peak cruise periods. Fares can rise by 10% to 30% during these windows compared to sailings held during term time.
One hack is to look out for school holidays your kids will get that may not be applicable to all children. This may include PSLE Orals in Mid-August, PSLE Listening Comprehensive in Early September, PSLE Written Exams in Late September to Early October, PSLE Marking in Mid-October. If your child is in Kindergarten, there may also be long weekends when school teachers have training/development days.
What Disney Is Charging Right Now
Disney Adventure Cruise March 2026: Sailing Prices for 2 adults + 2 young children
As of the latest listings, Disney Adventure sailings in March from Singapore for a family of four (2 adults + 2 young children) are priced between US$2,548 (S$3,324) and US$5,508 (S$7,187) for their shorter (three-night) cruise.
The range depends on which type of cabin you stay in (Oceanview, Verandah, and Concierge available). For reference, the most affordable inside cabins are already showing no availability for the two March sailings.

Oceanview and Verandah cabins obviously cost more given the view and “white-glove” service, as well as depending on the duration and date of sailing.
Disney Adventure Cruise December 2026: Sailing Prices for 2 adults + 2 young children
Of course, if you’re an avid planner then you could go ahead and think about booking for the December 2026 end-of-term holidays in late November and December.
For parents looking at a Disney Adventure cruise sailing then, they’re offering slightly cheaper prices at the Verandah level (US$2,816 (S$3,674) to US$2,918 (S$3,807)). Though, the most crucial thing is that there’s availability for the entry-level inside rooms.
However, they don’t come exactly “cheap”, with sailings in early December showing prices of US$2,012 (S$2,625) to US$2,090 (S$2,727) for the three nights.

Off-Peak Pricing Gives You The Best Bang For Your Buck
Somewhat expected, the most wallet-friendly weeks fall during regular school terms, such as October to early-November. The April and May sailings are relatively closer, and may be slightly more expensive.
Disney Adventure Cruise December 2026 sailings prices for 2 adults + 2 young children
For example, for Disney Adventure Cruise’s October 2026 sailings for three nights, you can get an inside room for as little as US$1,760 (S$2,296) for a family of four (2 adults + 2 young children).
An Oceanview room for the three-night sailing also runs about 10% cheaper than a December sailing (during the school holidays).
If you’ve got kids that haven’t started Primary yet (i.e. below 6 years old) then it might be worth exploring an off-peak sailing in 2026 – such as July, August, or October.
Do remember that there can be as many as four separate three-night sailings for the Disney Adventure Cruise per month, so the below snapshot of October’s sailing is just an example of two of the dates.

Understand the Trade-Offs Between Different Cabin Options
Families with young kids might be tempted by the verandah cabins but they do come at a steep premium.
For most families who plan to spend their time exploring the ship’s themed restaurants, water slides, and deck shows, an inside cabin offers the best value but the key question is whether they’re available when you want to go.
Oceanview cabins strike a nice balance if you prefer natural light without paying balcony prices and some families might find the slight premium worth it. Clearly, booking as early as possible will help with securing the availability that you want.
Much Cheaper Than Flying To The US Or Europe To Sail With Mickey
With the Disney Adventure permanently docked in Singapore starting in March 2026, cruising the high seas with Mickey, the Incredibles, and Frozen’s Ella has never been easier.
But convenience comes with price swings that follow the school calendar. Still, compared with flying a family of four to Florida or Northern Europe, it’s going to be a bargain.
One other thing to consider is that since the Disney Adventure Cruise is new, its novelty will in this part of the world might create significant demand. So, it might be worth thinking about booking a cruise three to four months after the first voyage in March. This is to allow the Disney Adventure cruise team to iron out any potential operational kinks.
By giving yourself a bit more leeway in terms of booking a date, availability should also be better in the second half of 2026.
