Upon earning 1 yuu Point for every dollar you spend, you can convert your yuu Points to Miles at a “conversion rate” of 3.6 yuu Points to 1 Mile. This conversion can be done without any conversion fees.

What’s even better is that when you spend at participating merchants with your DBS yuu Card, you can earn up to 36 yuu points per dollar. With a “conversion rate” of 3.6 yuu Points per mile, it means you can earn up to 10 miles per dollar spent on your DBS yuu Card!

Redeem A Pair Of Return Tickets Using Just yuu Points

Here’s how you can potentially redeem a pair of return trip tickets to a regional holiday destination to Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan and Hong Kong each year. Best of all, you can earn this by predominantly spending on things that you would already have spent on in the first place.

With the caveat that you have to hit a $600 minimum monthly spend on your DBS yuu Card, spending on everyday household expenses such as groceries, transportation, food delivery and household essentials can earn you 21,600 yuu Points each month.

Doing this 12 months a year will give you 259,200 yuu Points. Again, using the “conversion rate” of 3.6 yuu Points per Mile, that gives you 72,000 Miles per year.

Using various airlines’ online miles calculator, you (like us) can easily find that with 72,000 Miles, you will be able to redeem a pair of flight tickets to regional destinations, including those mentioned – Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong and more.

Alternatively, you can also use your miles to upgrade your flight to a 1-way Business Class ticket to Japan, Australia and other holiday destinations slightly outside our neighbouring countries.
