5 Alcohol Delivery Services (With Free Delivery) To Keep Your Party Spirits Flowing

Keep the party in high spirits

Like the guests at the wedding of Cana figured out, running out of booze during a party is no fun. Luckily it’s 2021, and rather than praying to be filled with the spirit (pun intended), other options abound. No need to try and turn water into wine.

Pre-party stash

There are many delivery services available that deliver alcohol. However, services like RedMart or Shopee get the alcohol to you long after your guests have left, and they also have lesser variety especially if you wish to order wine, whiskey or other alcoholic beverages, other than beer. Alcohaul and Paneco are great ways to prep your pre-party stash with their broad range of products and low prices. The only catch is that you have to order at least 2 hours before your party starts.

Alcohaul

Alcohaul boasts a great variety of drinks, and their prices are among the cheapest among all the delivery services. They sell some drinking games, drinks accessories such as ice molds, cocktail shakers or beer mugs, and they even sell champagne sabres.

If you are hungry, there is a wider selection of chips, dips and other snacks here.

The main downside of Alcohaul as compared to other alcohol delivery services is that the delivery cost and timings are not as great, which means that if you are trying to top off your beer mid-party, this will not be the option for you. However, given their fantastic whiskey prices, this is a great option for stocking up on the necessary drinks, so long as you are able to order at least a day before.

Next Day Delivery: Free delivery with timeslot selection

Same Day Delivery: $5 (before 2pm)

2-hour delivery: $19.90 (order before 7pm)

Surcharges:

  • $10 for orders below $100
  • $10 for delivery to locations in Sentosa

Paneco

Paneco stocks what is arguably the biggest range of whiskey and wine among all the options here. If you are looking for a very specific bottle of wine or whiskey, chances are you will find it here, and their prices are also among the cheapest of the lot. However, if you are looking for beer, Alcoholdelivery would be a better bet.

The main downside is that delivery is expensive and is not as fast as the other options. However, if you do not mind ordering your drinks a day prior to your gathering, Paneco is a great option to prepare a few bottles of whiskey or wine ahead for a tasting session with good friends.

Next Day Delivery: Free with >$80 purchase, otherwise $8.

Same Day Delivery: +$8 delivery fee (orders placed by 4pm)

2-hour Delivery: +$12.90 (Mon – Sat: 10am-Midnight , Sun 10.30am – 6pm)

Mid-party Top-up

However, if you run out mid-party, Alcohaul and Paneco cannot get you more booze on time. Sale of alcohol is prohibited after 10.30pm. That’s where these other delivery services come in. While they are generally pricier than Alcohaul and Paneco, they are generally able to get your drinks to you faster, hopefully before your guests decide it’s time to leave.

Alcoholdelivery

Alcoholdelivery stocks the widest range of beer compared to all the other websites here. Their selection for other alcoholic drinks like whiskey and wine are also very broad, and you would be generally spoiled for choice. The one item that Alcoholdelivery has that none of the other providers have is that they sell beer by the keg. With that said, it is also highly unlikely that anyone will be ordering kegs anytime soon with the current visitor cap of 5 pax.

They also sell other accessories like shot glasses, drinking games, simple snacks, whiskey rocks and even drink-mixing tools. However, note that all the above are generally pricier than you might be able to get from other sources. With that said, they do deliver most of these items within the hour, so the markup may be well justified.

1h Delivery: Free with >$50 purchase, otherwise $10 (Last order 2 am).

Surcharges:

  • $3 late night surcharge after 10.30 pm.
  • $5 for delivery on Public Holidays.
  • $7 to BBQ pits
  • $25 to destinations in Sentosa

Prime Liquor

Prime Liquor’s drinks are generally averagely priced, if not slightly pricey, but they do stock a good range of beer (including some craft beers), and whiskey. However, if you are shopping for a bottle of wine, you are definitely still better served checking out the other options or making a trip down to Cold Storage or Fairprice Finest.

They also stock some Irvin’s Salted Egg Potato chips, so if you are running low on snacks at your party, getting one of their bundles is a great idea.

30-90min delivery: Free for orders >$99, otherwise $9. (Last order 1.45am)

Alcohol Express

The range of all drinks seems limited, with only about 31 items in their beer category, 9 of which are currently sold out. Their whiskey and wine collection also seem rather limited, with half the items on the list being sold out at the moment. However, at a quick glance, for items that are in stock, their prices are comparable to Alcoholdelivery.

The main advantage of Alcohol Express is the fact that their delivery services run up to 3AM, as compared to Alcoholdelivery, where your last order needs to be made by 2AM. This is a great option for those who are partying late.

1h Delivery (3pm – 3am): Free with >$50 purchase, otherwise $9.

Surcharges:

  • $3 late night surcharge after 10pm.
  • $8 surcharge on Public Holiday or Eve of Public Holiday.

Standard delivery – Orders are processed within 2 business days. Orders below $100 will incur a $10 delivery fee.

Food Delivery Services

Grab and Foodpanda generally deserve some mention here because they do have alcohol delivery services. However, the range of products you can get through these services is generally more limited. Mostly, only beers and apple ciders are available. Delivery price is highly dependent on your location, but expect to spend about $10 on this front unless you live right next to one of the designated outlets.

Nevertheless, the upside of Food Delivery services is that they can deliver to you at much shorter notice, so if you are looking to amp up the beer buzz just a bit before you and your guests call it a night, this is still a great option in its own right.
