Despite being a young country celebrating SG60, Singapore has a vibrant arts and heritage scene, offering different cultural experiences. However, many artists in Singapore, especially the smaller, independent groups, may find it difficult to attract the attention of Singaporeans. To support Singapore’s arts and heritage scene, the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) launched the SG Culture Pass.
On Monday, 1 September, all Singapore Citizens aged 18 and above received $100 in SG Culture Pass credits. These credits can be used to pay for hundreds of eligible events, and you can use them to buy tickets for your friends and family.
To use these credits, simply log into the SG Culture Pass website with your Singpass. After completing the login process for the first time, you can then find a list of eligible events on the website.

Among the hundreds of eligible events, you’ll find art workshops, theatre productions, music concerts, and dance performances. You can even use the credits to attend the annual Singapore Writers Festival, one of the region’s most prominent literary festivals. By using the event filters, you can find experiences that are senior-friendly, as well as programmes in different languages.

Using Your $100 SG Culture Pass Credits
Once you’ve found an eligible event on the website, you will be redirected to the event’s ticketing partner. As these hundreds of eligible events are managed by different ticketing partners, their interfaces will look different from one another.
For example, Pelago makes it clear immediately that the ticket you’re buying will be using the credits.

Other ticketing partners, like BookMyShow, require you to provide your patron information first before presenting the SG Culture Pass as a payment option.

The credits are valid for eligible arts and heritage events taking place on or before 31 December 2028, so don’t feel like you need to use them up now. Many more eligible events will be added to the website over the next 3 years.

However, if you want to start using the credits now, here are 6 different types of experiences and events that you can book now. They’re divided into two main categories – family-friendly experiences, and experiences that cost more than $100.
