On 11 June 2025, Qantas Group announced that it will be closing its budget subsidiary Jetstar Asia from 31 July 2025. Jetstar Asia offers intra-Asia routes run by the airline from its base in Singapore.
Jetstar Asia assured that it will assist customers with their needs as best they can with the support of parent company Qantas Group. The airline will continue to operate flights for the remaining six weeks on a progressively reduced schedule until its last day of operation on 31 July 2025.
Here’s what you can do if you have flight bookings, vouchers or a membership with the airline.

Flight Refund And Other Arrangements
Customers need to first check if their booked flights with Jetstar Asia occur before or after the airline closure date on 31 July 2025.
If your flight happens prior to 31 July 2025, Jetstar Asia will still operate flights albeit at a reduced schedule. You will be notified by the airline should your flight is affected via your email listed in your booking.
For those who do not want to go through with their flights scheduled before the closure date, you can check the options available to you by logging in to ”Manage booking” from the Jetstar Airways homepage.
As for flights scheduled after 31 July 2025, you will have the option for a full refund in cash. Otherwise, travelers with connections to/from Australia or are flying between Singapore and Bali, Manila and Osaka may be offered a seat with Qantas Group if there’s any available. You will be contacted via the email address listed in your booking on your options.
If you had booked your flight with a travel agent or other airline, you will need to contact them for your options instead as Jetstar Asia may not have your contact information.
Club Jetstar Annual Membership Fee
Jetstar Asia has a membership programme, Club Jetstar, which customers can join by paying an annual membership fee of S$65 in the first year and subsequent renewals at S$55.
With the closure of Jetstar Asia, existing Club Jetstar members in Singapore will receive a refund on their annual membership fee and their membership will be cancelled. Memberships that expired before 11 June 2025 will not be refunded.
The airline will start refunding customers in August 2025 where the refund will be credited to the card you used to purchase the membership.
If the airline finds that it couldn’t process the refund to you, it will contact you directly via email. You should take precaution that the airline will not ask you to reveal your credit card details for this.
Travel Vouchers
Customers who have vouchers related to travel with Jetstar Asia will receive a refund on the remaining value. Vouchers that expired prior to 11 June 2025 will not be refunded.
If you bought the voucher within the last 18 months, the airline will directly refund you to the card you used to pay for the voucher. You will receive an email when the refund is transacted. For bookings made before that, the airline will contact you via the email listed in your booking for further instructions.
If you booked the vouchers with a travel agent, the airline may contact you directly if they have your contact details. Otherwise, they will reach out to the agent to manage your refund.
