5 Questions With… Erik Cheong, CEO (APAC) Of OMNi & Co-Founder Of Park N Parcel

This week, we speak to Erik Cheong, the CEO (APAC) of OMNi, the first regional super app in Central America and the Caribbean (CAC). OMNI’s mission is to transform the digital space of 7 untapped Central American markets beginning with Costa Rica and build innovative digital infrastructure in CAC. It focuses on four verticals: Mobility, Fintech, Healthcare, and Lifestyle.

A serial entrepreneur, Erik also co-founded Park N Parcel in Southeast Asia. In 2019, Erik was nominated for the Forbes 30 Under 30 (Consumer Technology). He was also awarded Quest Ventures – EDGE National Youth Entrepreneurship Award in 2018 and is a member of the eFounder Fellowship by Alibaba Global Initiatives & TRIVE Next50 Mentor / Angel Investor.

5 Things That Are Always In Your Daily Routine

– Plan ahead with my meeting schedule monthly. I always make it a point to set up meeting invites

– Set alarm for all my upcoming meeting daily that is always 10 minutes earlier

– Daily Operation Meeting 9 am and Management Meeting at 5 pm to keep the whole team on the same page and direction

– GYM or Golf every morning at 6 am to keep myself alert and active

– Grab a good cup of coffee. Flat white or kopi c kosong.

A lot of people suffer because they hold on their own personal truth, the ego, and they refuse to see the bigger picture in life. Be the type of person who can suppress ego, who can remain open to new ideas because that type of person never stops growing.
