7 AI Investing Tools Every Investor Should Know About

By integrating large language models, the reports generated by these AI tools claim to replicate the work of a skilled analyst.

With the amount of research and monitoring required for investors to stay on top of their investment portfolios, it is not surprising that artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for investors have become very popular over the past year. These AI tools claim to be able to provide real-time insights into your investment portfolio, saving you time and effort on your investment journey.

Of course, while it is still too early to fully entrust an AI platform to provide retail investors with accurate and reliable advice, many of these platforms also provide sufficient checks and balances to ensure that the analysis provided is sound.

#1 Longbridge PortAI

Longbridge’s PortAI tool is an “AI investment knowledge service platform”. It uses a large language model (integrated with both ChatGPT and Deepseek) to access a substantial dataset of macroeconomic data, company financial data and real-time global financial information.

This allows PortAI to provide retail investors with comprehensive and personalised opportunities when building their portfolio.

Access to the current iteration of PortAI requires a Longbridge account.

#2 StashAway General Investing

StashAway’s General Investing platform uses its proprietary Economic Regime-based Asset Allocation (ERRA) investment strategy to manage and adjust your portfolio based on macroeconomic conditions.

According to StashAway, ERAA now leverages AI for data analysis, though it is not clear exactly how AI is empowering the robo-advisor to continue its wealth management and portfolio optimisation role.

#3 AlphaSense Deep Research

AlphaSense is an AI-powered market intelligence and search platform that launched a “Deep Research” tool in June this year. The tool is able to generate analytical reports by accessing its catalogue of non-public proprietary data sources such as Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley research reports.

By integrating AI large language models from Anthropic, Google Gemini and Meta’s Llama, the reports generated can replicate the work of a skilled analyst team with speed and high accuracy.

Investors can use Deep Research to suggest potential stocks to add to an existing portfolio in the same way large corporations can ask Deep Research for a list of smaller companies that fit its acquisition strategy.

To use AlphaSense’s Deep Research tool, you will need an AlphaSense account.

#4 Daloopa

Daloopa is an AI-powered fundamental and historical financial data service. The tool allows analysts and investors to collate information and build datasheets from multiple company reports within minutes.

Much of Daloopa’s data comes from public sources such as filings with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), as well as investor presentations. Daloopa also claims to have models for most major international companies, including those that report in languages other than English.

While the tool is best suited for hedge fund analysts, it can conceivably be used by any investor with a broad portfolio looking for up-to-date insights.

Daloopa offers a free account for those looking to explore their research features.

#5 WarrenAI

Launched by financial news, tools & data platform Investing.com, WarrenAI is a “financial researcher” that is purpose-built for investors. It combines Investing.com’s real-time financial metrics, expert-level analysis, and screening tools into a single platform, which is accessed via their premium extension InvestingPro.

Investors can use WarrenAI to analyse their portfolios, do custom screening, monitor watchlists and more, while the interface will be familiar to users of large language models like ChatGPT, Google’s Gemini or Anthropic’s Claude.

#6 Kavout AI Stock Picker

Kavout’s AI Stock Picker tool analyses over 9,000 US stocks daily and ranking them so that investors can find high-potential stocks easily.

The stock screener also offers their own scoring system known as the Kai Score, which tracks a stock’s potential performance based on fundamental data, technical indicators as well as market sentiment and institutional interest.

Kavout’s AI Stock Picker also allows you to see their rankings of large-cap, mid-cap, small-cap and penny stocks in real-time. You also have the option of defining your own screening criteria via a simple natural language query.
