With effect from 29 March 2022, up to 75% of employees can return to the workplace without having to maintain 1-metre social distancing indoors with mask on. Along with this, there is no longer any group size limit on indoor activities and up to 10 colleagues per group can participate in outdoor social and recreational gatherings. With more relaxed Covid-19 rules kicking in, planning for company team bonding activities is now much easier!
Most companies in Singapore are made up of employees across different age groups. Encouraging intergenerational bonding in workplaces allows employees of both groups to better understand and value the perspective and experiences of different generations – in terms of working style and practices. This helps to bridge the “generation gap” between employees that could help to alleviate tension and improve communication, leading to smoother working processes and a higher sense of fulfilment at work.
We may soon get to see workplaces operating at full strength, so companies can start organising team bonding activities in groups of 10 to keep their employees engaged and foster more interaction among them. Here are 14 fun team bonding activities that companies can try with their employees.
