5 Digital Solutions That Every Company Should Adopt Using The Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG)

With the digital push accelerated by COVID-19 changes, companies (regardless of their size or industry) are increasingly moving to digital solutions. Whether you are a tiny two-person partnership or a medium-sized enterprise hiring a team of employees, digital solutions can be a huge productivity booster and business enabler. 

With the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) offering up to 80% subsidies, it is high time companies got onboard with using IT solutions to digitalise some (mind-numbing) aspects of business operations. 

Under the PSG, the maximum support level is up to 70%, from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023. For eligible solution sub-categories under the Food Services and Retail sectors, the enhanced support level is up to 80%. From 1 April 2023 onwards, the maximum support level will be up to 50% for all sectors.

The backbone of every business operation, accounting can be a headache for many companies. A good accounting software can provide features such as invoicing, bank reconciliation, inventory, quotes, expense claims, reporting, and payroll. For a small business, this may be all that’s needed administratively. 

One popular and easy-to-use accounting software for SMEs is Xero and this is well covered under PSG. There are multiple vendors offering Xero-based packages, ranging from a subscription-only package to comprehensive multi-user setup and consultation.
