The funding is capped at $30,000. <\/p>\n\n\n\n For the remaining amount 30% out-of-pocket amount, businesses can further tap on the\u00a0SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC) of $10,000<\/a>\u00a0to cover up to 90% of their out-of-pocket expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) was appointed by Workforce Singapore (WSG) as the Programme Manager to administer PSG-JR. Under the PSG-JR, businesses will be granted access to a pool of\u00a0JR consultancy support<\/strong>\u00a0to complement and drive business and workforce transformation. Together with NTUC\u2019s e2i, the company re-designed various manual job functions to make their workplace easier and smarter for older staff. These improvements include ordering, menu management, tabulation and reporting systems, and saved the company a total of\u00a020-30% in man hours<\/strong>. With this savings, they were able to increase the salary of older employees under the scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Another example is Shaws Preschool, which faced challenges with attracting and retaining talents while also needing to transform the jobs and skillsets of their employees to support future growth plans. Their project aimed to improve talent attraction and retention by redesigning the roles of their Senior Preschool Teachers and HR Manager to make the positions more appealing to job seekers. A mentorship role was added to the Senior Preschool Teacher role to offer structured learning support to new teachers, and ensure proper knowledge transfer through regular assessments of their progress. The enriched role also opens up the pathway for teachers to one day become a Teacher Mentor. The HR Manager role was expanded to include Leadership Development, reinforcing a culture of learning and training that keeps the talent pool relevant and equipped for future needs.\u00a0Through job redesign, higher value-added tasks were added to their roles while existing job responsibilities were reviewed to be reduced or removed so that the redesigned role does not become too overwhelming.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Read Also: Guide To Senior Employment Credit (SEC) Payouts For Employers Hiring Older Workers In Singapore<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n To apply for the PSG-JR, businesses can submit their application through the Business Grants Portal (BGP)<\/a> with the required documents \u2013 a consultancy proposal, consultant\u2019s quotation, and their latest CPF form 90 for the past 3 months<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Do note that each enterprise (based on Unique Entity Number) can only have 1 approved PSG-JR application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To maximise funding cap, businesses can choose to embark on multiple JR projects<\/strong> in 1 application. Participating businesses will have up to a year<\/strong> to complete their job redesign project.
