SuperAI 2025<\/a>, Asia\u2019s largest Artificial Intelligence (AI) event, welcomed over 7,000 attendees, 1,000 AI companies and 150 speakers over two days on 18 and 19 June 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beauty about AI is that it transcends all sectors and applications. There were so many interesting and innovative AI exhibitors, across multiple industries such as robotics, healthcare, finance, global impact. In attendance, were also industry leaders from Google, Amazon Web Solutions, OpenAI, Cisco, Microsoft, Salesforce, Meta AI, Anthropic, ByteDance, Goldman Sachs, Volkswagen, Bain & Company and many, many more.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

DollarsAndSense was a Media Partner for SuperAI, and we spoke to several local AI companies \u2013 to learn more about the next frontier, not just for Singapore, but for humanity. Here are 5 AI local companies that are putting Singapore on the world\u2019s AI map.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#1 Carecam<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

One of the most interesting start-ups we spoke to at SuperAI 2025 was Carecam<\/a>. Through its 3D Gait platform, Carecam is redefining healthcare and recovery by analysing a person\u2019s movements as they walk, aka, their gait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creating new form of digital biomarkers, Carecam\u2019s assessment can help healthcare professionals to quickly and accurately spot mobility issues and improve patient care. One of the novel things about Carecam\u2019s technology is that it uses a single camera and does not need additional biosensors or markers to perform its assessments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Led by \u201cChief Everything Officer\u201d Elson Yong, and CTO Ramanpreet Pahwa, Carecam is already is in use at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) and the National Heart Centre. According to CTO Ramanpreet, in the works, Carecam may soon be brought into the HDB heartlands to be used in screening seniors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The health-tech firm was one of the 10 finalists among 700 seed and growth-stage founders, at the Genesis Startup Competition which start on 1 June 2025. The winner will eventually win a US$100,000 investment from 500 Global<\/a> \u2013 a VC firm with US$2.3 billion in AUM. Some of its notable investee companies include Grab, Canva, bukalapak, Udemy and many more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#2 AI Seer<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Another local AI firm that is a finalist in the Genesis Startup Competition is AI Seer. Started in 2019, AI Seer is on a mission to check untruths through its fact-checking tool: Facticity.AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using advanced natural language processing and machine learning algorithms, Facticity.AI<\/a> scrutinises text, audio, and video content in real-time to ensure accuracy and reliability by cross-referencing information with credible sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founder and CEO Dennis Yap fell prey to an online scam which spurred him to start AI Seer. His aim today is to build a \u201cmore transparent and accountable digital ecosystem \u2013 with Facticity.AI as the Grammarly of fact-checking\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AI Seer also invented the world\u2019s first Multi-Spectral Reality Detector (MSRD)<\/a>, a lie detector system, which non-invasively captures traditional indicators used by polygraphers, such as respiration rate, heart rate, alongside next generation signals like pupillary and thermal features. The best thing about this system is that it is non-invasive, which means all the indicators are captured by a camera system \u2013 with a combination of RGB Camera, IR Camera and Thermal Camera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#3 Invigilo<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Co-Founder and CEO Vishnu Saran was inspired by his dad\u2019s work in the manufacturing sector to start\u00a0Invigilo<\/a>. The startup uses AI video analytics for real-time detection of non-compliance in workplace safety processes, to prevent incidents before they happen. This is especially relevant for companies in high-risk industries such as construction, manufacturing, maritime and oil & gas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acting as \u201csleepless sentries\u201d Invigilo AI integrates its software seamlessly into existing cameras that almost all companies in high-risk industries already employ for various purposes. This not only leads to cost savings and 24\/7 monitoring of high-risk activities, but also creates a safety culture within companies<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, construction sites in Singapore with a contract sum of $5 million and above are required to have Video Surveillance Systems (VSS) \u2013 which provides a steady stream of leads for Invigilo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vishnu also shared that its vision is to go beyond Singapore, where larger multinationals are not just obligated to have video surveillance, but actively look for novel ways to enhance their systems and processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, Invigilo counts HDB, LTA, PUB, ST Engineering, as well as Lendlease and Hyundai as its customers in Singapore. Outside of Singapore, it also has Saudi Arabian state-owned oil company Aramco and Saipem as clients as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#4 Bluewerks<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Founder and CEO of Bluewerks<\/a>, Javis Tan, is both a real estate agent and an AI proponent. In his role as a real estate agent, he started seeing the value and urgent need for not just real estate agents but everyone who works on social media to use AI to revolutionise their digital interactions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With AI Cloning, you create lifelike digital twins of yourself, with unique expressions, voices, and interactive features. You can then use this avatar library for Livestreaming, and integrated with major platforms like YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#5 Videotto<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

While walking around SuperAI 2025, we saw a booth by the National Youth Council (NYC) \u2013 and learned that they were running a tangent event supporting its student-led AI start-ups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I met some of the student founders working on their own AI startups, and was introduced to Videotto<\/a>. Run by two polytechnic students, Videotto turns long-form podcasts into shorter-form \u201cviral clips\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Co-Founders Tay Yao Ming and Ian Lee shortens the video editing process for livestreamers and digital businesses \u2013 creating viral short-form video clips in a matter of minutes, rather than having to cut and edit longer videos one by one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What was quite impressive is that the duo had already started monetising their platform, and was actively trying to sell us the value of their service. Truth be told, we might be paying customers soon!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
