ESG is used to assess an organisation\u2019s business practices and performances on various non-financial issues such as eco-friendliness, care for employees, and risk management. This will ensure that a business is not only contributing to the overall economy, but is doing so in a reliable and sustainable way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the forefront of the ESG movement is start-ups such as STACS, the company behind ESGPedia, a blockchain-powered ESG registry and the technology partner of the MAS\u2019 Project Greenprint.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The platform\u2019s function is twofold: Firstly, it compiles and distributes ESG data from over 120,000 companies in Southeast Asia, and secondly, it helps these companies and many others connect with business partners that allow them to further optimise their ESG profile.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the 2023 Singapore Fintech Festival, DollarsAndSense speaks to Benjamin Soh, Co-Founder and Managing Director of STACS.
